The Democrats get used as punching bags for Trump as he uses them as cover to rob more from the American People and blame it on them while doing so. Certainly, the Democrats do bare a lot of blame for the problems in the US Government, but in this scenario, they will be used as the Scapegoats and it also props up Trump and alleviates him of accountability, kind of like what was done in the 2020 COVID Lockdowns.
